What Weh Fi Nyam needed
A Jamaican restaurant directory covering all 14 parishes, with food guides that tell visitors and locals where to eat. We also designed its logo and built its brand.
What we did
Weh Fi Nyam is one of our own sites, and its name is Jamaican patois for "where to eat." It answers that question for the whole island: a directory of more than 4,000 restaurants across all 14 parishes, browsed by parish and town and then by the kind of food, beside more than 50 food guides on jerk, street food, seafood, late-night spots and eating well on a budget.
A visitor planning a trip and a local deciding on dinner tonight get the same clear answer.
A directory that size has to open fast and stay easy to move through on a phone, so we hand-built it in Next.js on cloud hosting, and every listing, every page and the domain are owned outright. We also designed its logo, built its brand and run the social media marketing that brings food lovers to the guides. A custom app for the directory is coming next.
