What Weh Fi Med needed
A Jamaican directory of more than 2,000 pharmacies, clinics, laboratories, dentists, opticians and other health services across all 14 parishes, with 50 health guides.
What we did
Weh Fi Med is one of our own sites, and its name is Jamaican patois for "where to get medicine" or medical help. It is part of the Weh Fi family beside Weh Fi Nyam, Weh Fi Ride and Weh Fi Parts, and it answers the question people ask when they or someone they love needs care: where to go.
It lists more than 2,000 health services across all 14 parishes, from pharmacies, clinics and hospitals to laboratories, dentists, opticians and physical therapy, browsed by parish and town and then by the kind of care.
Beside the directory sit 50 guides that help a reader know what to ask and what to bring. Businesses can claim their listing and keep it current. We hand-built it in Next.js on cloud hosting, and the listings, the pages and the domain are owned outright. We also designed its logo and built its brand.
