What Riskado needed
An insurance guide library and local agency directory: plain-language guides, national and state by state, a glossary of more than 160 insurance terms, and agencies to talk to near you, in English and Spanish.
What we did
People shopping for insurance usually start with a question, not a company: what renters insurance covers, what their state requires on a car, what a small business actually needs. Riskado answers that question first, then helps the reader find a local insurance agency to talk to.
The site pairs a library of plain-language guides, national and state by state, and a glossary of more than 160 insurance terms with a directory of local agencies that grows one state at a time. Every guide and term is written in both English and Spanish, so a family that reads in either language gets the same answer.
Directory pages open to search only once a town has enough real listings and its own written introduction, so the directory grows without filling Google with empty pages. The site is a fast, custom Next.js build with no directory plugin underneath, and every part of it is owned outright. We also designed its logo.
