## What we did

We Dig Skulls is one of our own sites, and it began on WordPress. It is a home for skull and skeleton stories and skull art, with more than 125 stories, every one published in both English and Spanish, so a reader in either language gets the whole story.

A site with that much writing and artwork needs to open fast and stay easy to move through, so we moved it from WordPress to Next.js on cloud hosting. The shop is built into the site itself, so a reader who loves a skull story can buy the art without leaving, and it now carries 64 products, with the merch printed and shipped by a print-on-demand partner.

Stories, art and shop sit under one roof, in one look, and the domain and the accounts are ours outright. We also designed its logo, built its brand and run the [social media marketing](https://webleveling.com/services/social-media-marketing/) that brings readers to the shop.
